This is the main business of Fferm Plas Helyg; the trading name is Pembrokeshire Willow, because its nice and easy to remember!
Plas Helyg means ‘Willow Palace’ in Welsh, an apt name for a place where we grow 15 varieties of willow, and coppice over 2,500 willow stools each year.
Mainly, I use my willow to teach others how to weave baskets and sculptures. More on that at www.pembrokeshirewillow.co.uk
I also sell willow cuttings or living willow bundles in season – that’s between November and March when there are no leaves on the trees.
If you are interested in learning – you can find that info on the Courses page.
